Dating advice after 50

Dating as an institution is a relatively recent phenomenon which has mainly emerged in the last few centuries. From the standpoint of anthropology and sociology , dating is linked with other institutions such as marriage and the family which have also been changing rapidly and which have been subject to many forces, including advances in technology and medicine. As humans societies have evolved from hunter-gatherers into civilized societies , there have been substantial changes in relations between men and women, with perhaps one of a few remaining biological constants being that both adult women and men must have sexual intercourse for human procreation to happen. Comment: Jack Spratt 8th November 2017: Great to see a video done by the owner or runner of a site rather than a faceless agency! I might even give your dating site a go Mike!
Reply: Mike Barrett 9th November 2017: I hope that you do join the dating site Jack and this is a very interesting name that you have; Jack Spratt!
Comment: Jack Spratt 29th November 2017: Hi Mike, I did join and have met a few people and things are looking good so far but nothing 'solid' yet. I have heard of people who use a dating site as a way of meeting casual friends and dinner dates! I will definitely continue to search, message and match as you say and let's see how things go ;)

Men and women are different in many ways, but we’re more the same than you may think. And this is especially true as we get older. We all have dating disappointments and horror stories. Just like how you’ve dated your share of challenging types of men like the Pinger , the Couch Potato and the older-and-balder-than-his-profile-guy…men also meet and enter into relationships with less-than-impressive types of women.
